The Ladies of The Hills: New Beginnings are Cosmopolitan Magazine's April 2019 cover stars

The final episode of MTV's The Hills aired on July 13, 2010 and as the show's Natasha Bedingfield theme song stated, the rest was still "Unwritten."

Fast forward to 2019 and much like the fashion world, everything feels like 2007 all over again! MTV has decided to reboot The Hills as announced during the 2018 VMA's and fans are going to get a chance to catch up on everything that has been written with the show's stars (minus LC and Kristen and plus Mischa Barton) over the past 9 years on The Hills: New Beginnings slated to debut in Summer 2019.

Whitney, Heidi and Audrina are back and so is the bingeable drama that defined so much between 2006 and 2010. Who could forget those iconic moments like LC crying one perfect mascara filled tear or crazy Spencer and his crystals? Remember when OJ&B did a few recaps of The Hills on Youtube? Check them out here and here (what a time to be alive)!

Times have changed, and so have they. This time around the girls are joined by Mischa Barton which feels super strange but makes more and more sense the more and more you think about it. The four are now getting ready to promote The Hills: New Beginnings which includes additional memorable Hills faces from the previous franchises, like Brody Jenner, Stephanie Pratt, Frankie Delgado, Justin (Bobby) Brescia, and Jason Wahler.

Check out more photos from the April issue of Cosmopolitan below as well as some quotes from the cast and Cosmo cover stars where the ladies discuss whether The Hills were real or not, Mischa's decision to join the cast his they have changed since the OG Hills, their nannies and Heidi's infamous falling out with Lauren "LC" Conrad.

Heidi on whether The Hills was “real” or not: “Toward the end of The Hills, Spencer and I had a lot of scripted fights and things like that.”

Heidi on her infamous falling out with LC: “Sometimes things happen that will change how you feel about people, and sometimes it’s very permanent. I thought with Lauren and me, we would’ve been friends again.”

Mischa Barton on her decision to join a reality show: “It’s weird because I remember going out with Nicole Richie and people at the time, and we would come by set when they were filming The Hills. She would drag me to the producer van to see what you guys had been up to all day. All these years later...it sounds corny, but it felt like this was supposed to happen.”

Mischa on feeling like a bit of an outsider with the other girls: “I sometimes get in over my head. I didn’t really consider the fact that they’re all such close friends. They’re family girls. They all have husbands or ex-husbands and babies… I was afraid that, obviously, the drama would land on me because I don’t have babies. But the bulk of the drama comes from the history they have.”

Audrina Patridge on 18-month-old Gunner Pratt: “He’s so comfortable with the cameras. Even on the red carpet at the VMAs, I was amazed.”

Whitney Port on the most obvious way she’s changed since The Hills premiered: “I wear mom jeans and drive an SUV.”

The ladies on the challenges of finding nannies who aren’t familiar with The Hills:
Audrina: “I met with a nanny last week… She’s so young, and she was there while we were filming, listening, asking a million questions. She’s aHills fan too, I guess.”
Whitney: “Maybe you should rethink hiring her then. I have a nanny who’s close to 70. I took a picture of something randomly and she was like, ‘Will that go on social media?’”
Mischa: “If she was a fan of The Hills, it might not be the best.”
