Models Wear Nautica Men's Spring/Summer 2016 Collection During New York Fashion Week: Men's In New York City

On Wednesday, July 15, 2015 Nautica debuted its Men's Spring/Summer 2016 collection during New York Fashion Week: Men's in New York City.  The collection shown was under the direction of new men’s designer Steve McSween and showed off evaluated basics that the brand is known for.

I love a cardigan with a double stripe!  This will be used in future Nautica collection as a signature detail.

McSween drew inspiration for the SS16 collection from his native NYC by utilizing the city's iconic landmarks as the basis for the seasons' swimwear and knitwear prints.

“This is where water meets the city, but with a metropolitan New York filter” - Steve McSween

I have always loved basics that ad a subtle twist to make simple things special and this collection does just that.  A preppy double stripe transforms a basic white short, the perfect pattern paired with a higher hemline makes a swimsuit to swoom for and a simple bag made oversized puts it directly on my must have list!  Check out more of my fave looks below from the Nautical Men's Spring/Summer 2016 presentation below.

I am obsessed with the pattern on these shorts.  For the Spring/Summer 2016 collection several lengths ranging from 14 to 18 inches were used so there is no doubt that you can find the perfect pair for you.

These shorts are perfect for the guy looking for a longer length.  They are just dying to be worn on a sailboat in the Cape!

The oversized bags shown in this collection have me yearning for one! They would make a chic and simple weekend go bag for a getaway to the Hamptons.

If you are going to a rooftop pool party in the city then these swim trunks are the perfect thing to pair with nice tank top and summer blazer combo.  You will arrive in style and also be the best dressed in the pool!

You won't want the rain to go away with this jacket.  It will definitely brighten up any cloudy day.

You can still look stylish and keep warm on those brisk days spring days and evenings on the sailboat with this two-toned jacket above and all white jacket below.

Love a blue stripped swim trunk!

So you are probably wondering if there are any shirts or sweaters showcased in this collection... The answer is yes!  Give your eyes a rest from the above washboard abs and take a look at some of my favorite sweaters below that need to be worn on Martha's Vineyard ASAP!

One of my favorite things in life is a preppy v-neck sweater

I would love to pair this shawl neck cardigan with a button up, bow tie and a pair of pink shorts for a pop of color.  Delicious!

This sweater can be worn with so many types of pants. Grey or navy blue slacks or shorts, a nice dark denim.  It makes casual look sophisticated and fun.

Thanks so much to the Nautical team for inviting OJ&B to the SS16 presentation. I saw so many amazing things that I love and have to have!  Until next season!
