EVERYTHING was happening this Monday night on ABC's hit show "Dancing With The Stars" when contestants had to pick a dance that represented the most memorable year of their lives.  "DWTS" contestant and long time 90's actress fave of mine, Elizabeth Berkley, paid homage to her "Saved by the Bell" roots.

Berkley played Jessie Spano in the hit 90's television show "Saved by the Bell" and was a vital part in one of the most epic episodes of the series.  In the episode her character gets addicted to caffeine pills while trying to study for school and be a part of the girl group that her and her friends (Kelly Kapowski and Lisa Turtle) created called "Hot Sundae."

Take a look at original scene and then take a look at Monday night's performance!

Original scene from "Saved by the Bell":

Elizabeth's DWTS performance/homage:

I LOVE that her and her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy did a full on reenactment of this classic scene and I love it even more that Mario Lopez who played her "Saved by the Bell" on screen boo, A.C. Slater, showed up to support her!  Also, how amazing was it that Mark-Paul Gosselaar who played Zack Morris chimed in on Twitter and brought up Lisa and Screech's dance "The Sprain?!"  It was like all was right with the world again for at least a few fab filled minutes!

This just goes to show you the strength and power of social media!  Elizabeth stated on a video that she released during "DWTS" practice with Val that they heard everyone on social media "loud and clear."  Thank the pop culture gods that she was up for giving us what we wanted!

Now if only we could find a time machine to go back to the 90's!
