Fashion designer Marc Bouwer has created some of the most stunning and iconic fashion moments in pop culture history (think Whitney Houston's wedding gown or Shania Twain's Iconic leopard outfit from her 'That Don't Impress Me Much' music video among many others) and continues to captivate with his innovative and fashion forward designs. I aways say if you don't know about Marc Bouwer then you don't know fashion!

The legendary designer recently kicked off New York Fashion Week 2021 by showing off his gorgeous Haute Couture 2021 - 2022 collection in a covid safe video by Pedro Oberto. 

"Creating this collection has been cathartic during this awful time in out lives, it has forced me to return to the very roots that made me become a fashion designer." Bouwer stated on the video post via YouTube. "At first I thought I would sit this season out, as I have done the past year due to the pandemic... I went to my design studio and began to clean up and rearrange things there. Very soon I began to feel an overwhelming sense to make something."

Because Bouwer made this elaborate and detailed collection slowly and meticulously over the a period of 3 months with his own hands, he decided to call it his Haute Couture 2021/22 collection.
