On Sunday, January 12, 2014, I had the honor of co-hosting a Golden Globes Red Carpet Tweet-up with The Glamazon Diaries, The Fabulous Report and The Fashionisette.  I am so glad that Makeda of The Glamazon Diaries invited me to be a part of this fabulous tweet-up because it took place in the lap of luxury, The Hotel Elysee on East 54th Street between Madison and Park Avenue (I cannot think of a better way to watch the Globes)!

Our night of glamour, gossip and gowns was kicked off by a complimentary champagne happy hour in the beautiful 2nd floor lounge and library where we were treated to chic snacks, bubbles and an unexpected celeb sighting!  As we were sitting down to toast the night with our champagne, we noticed that the legendary Robert De Nero was right outside on the sidewalk shooting his latest film, "Hands of Stone" just one floor below us.  It was the perfect way to kick of the 2014 Golden Globes!

Check out the fabulous photos of our suite and a fun video of me getting my Alicia Keys on with the room's piano.

When I walked into the suite all I could think of was how I needed to move in ASAP!  It is the perfect place to come into after your travels to the city and/or a long day in NYC!

The couches and seating area were super cozy and perfect for watching the 2014 Golden Globe Awards.

The dining area was a great place for our central hub of laptops and work gear. It was also the perfect place for our Belvedere Vodka bottles (my fave), champagne and wine!

If you stayed in this Suite (room 124) and you wanted to make some dinner for yourself or some hors d'doeuvres for a small party then his mini kitchen is just what you need! It is the perfect place to prep.

The bedroom will have you feeling very Marie Antoinette or, if you are like me, Christina Aguilera in the 'What A Girl Wants' video.

All the was missing from the suite's bedroom at the Hotel Elysee was the tiara!

The suite featured a very spacious bathroom which is fabulous to find in NYC and an outdoor balcony just off of the bedroom.  One of the best things about the Hotel Elysee is the location.  Because it is between Madison and Park Ave it is super quite at night.  This area usually only is busy during the day so if you go on the balcony for a cocktail at night you almost feel as if you have the entire city to yourself.

I just love a hotel suite with a piano in it!  It just feels so retro and glamorous! It was the perfect accent in an already luxurious room!

Thanks so much to the Hotel Elysee for having us on the night of the 2014 Golden Globes it was an amazing and luxurious experience!  I definitely recommend that you look into this hotel for any upcoming trips to New York City!  HINT: If you do stay, make sure to utilize the complementary breakfast in the 2nd floor lounge.  It is the perfect way to start your busy day in the Big Apple.

With that, I leave you with my video of me jokingly trying to be Alicia Keys.  I mean if you have your own private piano in your own private suite, why would you not try to channel her?
