Modern burlesque queen Dita von Teese is bringing the class and the sexy with the introduction of her new signature cocktail entitled "Cointreau MargaDita."

After successful presentations in New York and Los Angelas, Von Teese revealed this queenie concoction at the Rosewood mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas. According to Dita Von Teese, "The Cointreau® MargaDita is a tantalizing haute-cocktail with a spicy twist." Von Teese decided to put a spin on the classic Margarita to pay homage to Maragrita Sames, a socialite from Dallas who created the drink in 1948 at her vacation estate on the cliffs of Acapulco.

150 guest came out to enjoy the Cointreau MargaDita as well as an array of other Cointreau cocktails while Dita mingled with them. Each Cointreau cocktail was prepared by The Mansion Bar’s head mixologist Rocco Milano. Some of the drinks included the original Side Car and the Deconstructed Cosmoplolitan, which is molecular spheres of the traditional cocktail presented on a serving spoon.

Not only were the pallets entertained by the kick of the cocktail , it was complimented by hors d’oeuvres of goat cheese-stuffed gougeres with piquillo and basil, smoked short rib tostadas with chipotle cream and cilantro and shrimp and spicy black bean skewers. Each of these delectable treats compliment the sweet and spicy flavor of the Cointreau MargaDita.

If you are holding your own soiree, here are the ingredients to tantalize the taste buds with your own MargaDita:
