Heidi Montag - Pratt Takes A Break From Her Marriage: Real or Fake?

Heidi Montag has allegedly seperated from husband Spencer Pratt and is looking for a new place to live

It was reported by TMZ (how and why are they EVERYWHERE lol) last Friday that Heidi was officially taking a break from the scariness that is Spiedi. It is so hard to tell what is real and what is fake with Heidi these days but I am here to tell you that this is REAL!

CNN's (yes I said CNN) confirmed today on their entertainment blog, The Marguee Blog ,that an official rep for the over the top twosome confirmed the reported separation.

“As you can imagine, it is crazy right now. [Montag is] trying to lay low the next couple days,” the rep told CNN. “What I can say is that it’s a separation for now, not divorce.”

If all of this wackiness with Spencer and his crystals is legit crazy, then I think we can all agree that Heidi is doing the right thing and needs some "crystal light" in her life. She really does seem lost and sometimes you need to take a moment to step back and find yourself again. On Tuesday, May 25, 2010, Heidi Tweeted this message:

@HeidiMontag "PS: I am not Heidi Pratt, I am Heidi Montag"

Heidi, you do what you gotta do Boo! RUN FOR THE HILLS!

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY 2010 FROM OJ&B!

It's officially summer 2010 now that Memorial Day Weekend is here to kick it off! This means that it is time to strap on that all white monokini with your matching triple platform heels and get on the train/Jitney/carpool/helicopter/yacht/moped/limo to the HAMMIES! (The Hamptons for those of you who may not have caught it.)

It's hard to believe but not EVERYONE is actually going to the Hammies. Some are staying in the city or heading to other places to celebrate. Whatever you do, remember to stay classy and don't go crazy wearing booty shorts everywhere just because it is the summer time. There is a time and a place for booty shorts and the streets of NYC (or any city for that matter) is not the time or the place. There are reasons why I love Fall/Winter more than Spring/Summer.

Above all, let's all take a moment to remember why we can enjoy going to the Hammies in monokinis and booty shorts. Memorial Day is a time to thank the men and women who have given their lives for our country so we can be free and enjoy life! OJ&B THANKS ALL OF THEM AND ANYONE WHO IS CURRENTLY SERVING IN THE MILITARY!!!

Now go have a burger/hot dog/veggie something that looks weird next to the real food on the grill, wear SPF and have a wonderful time!

Like Miley Says, "HEEEYYYYYY IT'S A PARTY IN THE U.S.A!"

Video: Patricia Field’s Disco Swim-sational Soiree at 230 Fifth Avenue!

On Tuesday, May 25th 2010, the fabulous Patricia Field held a Swim-sational Disco Soiree and fashion show at 230 Fifth Avenue, New York’s Largest Rooftop Garden and Penthouse Lounge. Patricia Field launched Patricia Field/House of Field Eyewear, Swimwear and Beach Towels. The spectacular swimwear fashion show and installation featured House of Field by David Dalrymple, Ivana Sert (SATC) and The Blonds (of Britney and Rihanna fame). The fashion show also showcased fine gold jewelry by Ippolita, sponsored by World Gold Council and luxury handbags by MCM Worldwide who sponsored the event as well.

The party was beyond fabulous and it was my very first rooftop party in New York City! And what a first time it was! The best way to tell you how amazing it was is by letting you watch the video recap of the night. It is the fiercest video under 2 minutes that you will ever see! (P.S There are Monokinis GALORE!) Enjoy and please feel free to post in on your social media sites and leave plenty of comments!

NYC Amazons: Serge Strosberg Showcases Socialites Of The City Via Paintings

Manhattan is a tiny island with different types of people. It amazes me how there can be so much diversity in such a small place. One of the most infamous types of people on the island is the New York City Socialite (no I am not talking about Gossip Girl!)

On Thursday, May 20 2010, Sabrina Chapman of Sabrina Chapman PR produced a lovely event to showcase the work of artist Serg Strosberg. Strosberg is a Belgian artist born in Antwerp who spent his childhood in Belgium and the United States and moved to New York in 2007. His latest body of work, NYC Amazons, features various socialites in the city with stunning paintings that capture moments in these peoples lives. NYC Amazons was celebrated by a beautifully blended crowd of VIP’s, socialites, models, collectors, art connoisseurs, bloggers and fashionistas. I love how art brings people together. Take a look at the the art lovers who showed up to support Serg Strosberg's NYC Amazons!

Fashion Inspired By Broadway's Promises, Promises!

One of my favorite window installments in the city right now are the windows at the Lord & Taylor on 5th Avenue. The windows feature fashion inspired by Broadway's Promises, Promises starring Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes!

The show takes place in 1960's NYC which is one of my favorite times in fashion history! The lines were so clean, the women were stunning and the men were dapper! Check out the photos from the window installments at the Lord and Taylor on 5th Ave. I plan on seeing Promises, Promises ASAP! I would love to review it for the blog WINK WINK!

Above: I need every single one of these looks in my closet RIGHT NOW!

Above: I am in love with this window! I love all of the typewriters and I believe that the papers were the script to the show. So smart.

Is Lea A Bea? A Source Tells OJ&B An Exclusive Story!

Lea Michele (left) as Rachel Berry on Glee

It is no secret that I am a HUGE Gleek! The last couple of episodes have been amazing! The Madonna episode was beyond words and the upcoming Gaga (or as I like to call it GlaGa) episode is going to be beyond epic! I have also been a huge fan of Lea Michele A.K.A Rachel Berry since her Spring Awakening days on Broadway but the recent rumors that she is a heinous diva are making me question my love for her.

We can start with the rumors from the actual set of Glee. It has been said that LM is getting a huge diva 'tude and that a lot of the cast is annoyed with her. There was also Lea's run in with celebrity photographer Patrick McMullan earlier this month at the Time 100 gala where she would not tell McMullan who she was and reportedly spent the entire night making out with her boyfriend and ignoring all around her like some freshman college girl at her first sorority date party. LEA I REALLY HOPE THIS IS NOT TRUE!

The most recent report of LM's divaesque behavior comes to me via an undisclosed source that was at the 2010 Fox Upfront Party in New York City on May 17th. The source tells OJ&B that Lea was with what seemed to be her publicist who told LM that she was going to have to walk into the party with just one person. LM apparently flipped out saying that she did not want to walk around the party and meet people with just one other person. The source also tells OJ&B that some of the other cast members looked like they were totally over her attitude. DON'T ACT LIKE THAT BOO!

Now this is totally just what I was told from a source that was at the party and I cannot confirm or deny any of those claims but it seems to lineup with all of the other LM reports.

Dear Lea Michele,

I hope that these people are just hating and that you are really a super sweet girl. Please do not turn into a mean girl and disappoint all of your fans that have loved you since Spring Awakening. Also if you really are a diva and we meet please check that mess to the curb because I do not play that game!

Love always,

OJ&B!

Tia and Tamera Mowry Look Amazing!

Tamera Mowry And Tia Mowry Leave The Trump International Hotel On May 20, 2010 In New York City

Sister, Sister! Never knew how much I missed her! I have always loved Tia and Tamera Mowry! Sister, Sister was one of my favorite shows to watch after school in the 90's and I am so happy that these lovely ladies are still doing what they love!

Yesterday I went to a taping of The Wendy Williams Show and as I was waiting to go into the studio Tia and Tamera were leaving from their interview. They were stunning in person and they were so sweet to their fans. One guy even had flowers for the girls. Tia and Tamera accepted the flowers and gave him a big thank you hug. All of the onlookers let out a huge "AWWWW" and the young man looked like he was about to cry. After signing autographs and taking pictures with fans, they turned around and did the same for the crowd that did not have a security rail in front of them. I love when celebs are nice to their fans. It made my heart happy to see that my childhood television faves are still as nice as ever!

Above: Tia and Tamera Mowry greet fans as they leave The Wendy Williams Show. These ladies are a double dose of class!

I was a bit sad that I did not see the taping of Tia and Tamera's interview but I am thrilled that I got to see them as they were leaving the studio. The show that I saw aired today but everything but the hot topics and the swimsuit fashion show were pre-tapped. BOO! At last Wendy was nice about it.

Above: Unlike some other T.V. shows, Wendy actually lets you take photos after the taping! I left my camera thinking there would be no photos. Yay for camera phones!

Check out Tia and Tamera Mowry on The Wendy Williams Show discussing their new Lifetime movie and Tia's show The Game's return to television via BET!

Funny For Fido: Comics Stand-Up For Homeless Animals!

There are hundreds of animals all over the world that fall victim to neglect and abuse. Luckily there are also hundreds of humans that are willing and ready to help these animals find loving and happy homes!

Funny for Fido founder, Comedian Justin Silver, is an avid pet-lover and dedicates his time to rescuing and rehabilitating neglected and abused animals. In 2005, Justin adopted a rescue pup from a shelter that was no more than a run-down house in a low-income neighborhood in the Bronx filled with battered animals. Since then, Justin has combined his love of laughter with his passion for animals and created Funny for Fido to raise money in support of organizations that shelter and treat these mistreated furry friends.

On May 24, 2010, Funny For Fido is having its 4th annual celebrity comedy show to raise money for no kill animal rescue shelters. The event will be held at the world-famous Caroline’s in Times Square. Comedians Colin Quinn of Saturday Night Live, Robert Kelly of Tourgasm, and Last Comic Standing Finalist Amy Schumer are part of this year’s line up.

I think it is a fantastic idea to do comedy for a great cause! I have a lot of friends that have adopted shelter dogs and they are the sweetest animals that I have ever met. I totally support people adopting a shelter animal if you are needing slash looking for a new pal!

Jolt Fall 2010: Everyone Will Totes Be Jeal!

I love covering fashion and blogging! It is great being able to show everyone what is going to be the hotness in the up coming seasons. I also love hearing from all of my fierce readers! I have noticed that some of my readers are still in high school and so this one is for you! (and also for ladies who can fit into the clothes and want the look for less, see the amazing jackets below!)

I recently went to the Jolt showroom to see their Fall 2010 line! I love how Jolt has really taken clothes for the younger demo up a notch! I totally remember getting dressed up everyday for school. I figured it was the only place I was going to be so I might as well look fresh to death, right?

Let's start with jeans. Now the right pair of fly jeans can really take you places. Jolt has some really cool jeans and jeggings, that's leggings that look like jeans. Some of you may be opposed to jeggings but they are totally acceptable for teenage girls. (Don't hate cause you can't rock them!) The great thing about jeans is that you can dress them up or down depending on how fly you need slash want to be that day. My niece is in high school and just turned 17. You know they wear heels to school these days right? Back in my day girls thought it was cute to wear flip flops with EVERYTHING! (Accept for my friend Ashley E. who wore heels everyday) I tried to tell them it was not cute but they wouldn't listen! Remember flip flop heels?! YIKES!

Above: An entire wall of great denim by Jolt!

Another cool thing that Jolt is doing for Fall 2010 is some really awesome ruffle front jackets that have inspiration from the Vince 2010 line.

Above: Ruffle front jackets that will put you ahead of the class!

My favorite thing that Jolt has for Fall '10 is the incredible faux fur jackets and vests. My first reaction was that I would love to see the girl who was fierce enough to rock a faux fur to 5th period. I think that the faux fur vest are all kinds of awesome. You can rock your inner Rachel Zoe while you're taking your biology test.

Above: "Girl I gotta run back to Miss Teachalot's classroom cause I think I left my fur during 2nd period!"

Any and all of these pieces would work if you are trying to win best dressed next year or you simply want to put your best foot forward. I was told that some find it helpful to dress nice on test days because they often do better! I always say if you look good then you feel good, which always leads to doing a better job!

Thanks Jolt for showing OJ&B around the showroom! See you next time! Have a great summer and don't ever change for ANYONE!

LAUNCH : 2 Hosted by Kalyn Hemphill!

Last Friday LAUNCH : 2 had an opening at IAM, the International Arts Movement presented by author Adam Tyson and musician Jeffrey Leiser. Guest enjoyed new literature by Adam Tyson, original music performed by Jeffrey Leiser, holography by Eric Leiser, fine art by Jay Henderson, art photography by Candice Ralph and Adam Tyson, and exclusive new content from feature film GLITCH IN THE GRID by the Leiser brothers.

The night was hosted by the lovely Kalyn Hemphill and fun was had by all. I really enjoyed the photos by Candice Ralph. The photos were of random things throughout the city. I love seeing people's artistic pictures of how they see NYC.

After the presentations the loft like space quickly turned into a really fun dance party. There is nothing that I love more that a party turned dance in the city!

Congrats to Adam and Jeffery on a successful and fun event! Be sure to be on the lookout for future Launch events! I hear that LAUNCH : 3 is going to be held in London, England!

AAS Line Debut 2010 At Parsons The New School For Design

I LOVE seeing fresh design ideas and new talent in the world of fashion. One of the best ways to do this is by utilizing the cities amazing design schools that are just overflowing with untapped talent. I recently went to the AAS Line Debut 2010 at Parsons The New School For Design. I was blown away by the workmanship and creativity that these students put into their work.

Above: An amazing hood designed by Alessandria Redley.

One of my favorite pieces was a phenomenal take on the trench coat by Layo Rakiat Gbadamosi. I noticed it instantly from cross the room. The coat is made of metallic linen with an exaggerated asymmetrical collar and hemline. "The look represents a sexy female detective, with a high collar meant to shield her face as she pursues her prey" Gbadamosi says of her design. I love everything about it!

Above: Layo Rakiat Gbadamosi proudly stands next to her fierce creation.

Another great design was an elegant gold dress by Caleb Junghwan Park. Park was inspired by the shape of natural coral in paintings at the Metropolitan Museum. The fringe used for the belt is sustainable and the remainder of the garment is constructed using linen fabric. Well done! It really was put together well.

Above: A gold dress by Caleb Junghwan Park. I can totally see Meryl or Mrs. Obama wearing this to something fab.

I was really impressed that there were also jewelry and handbag designers showcased as well. I loved the playfulness of this chocolate dipped strawberry purse by Martha Napier. Notice how she uses gold studs for the detail on the strawberry. Very clever!

Above: A very fun strawberry bag by Martha Napier.

It is so good to know that there are always fresh ideas in fashion being created everyday. I really encourage everyone to utilize the great universities in the city when looking for things to do. They always have really interesting exhibits, events, performances, speakers, etc.

Congratulations to everyone who showed at the AAS Line Debut 2010 at Parsons The New School For Design. Good luck with your designs after graduation! Maybe we will see you at Lincoln Center very soon!

Joonbug and Fashion Indie Present Prom: Class of 2010!

PROM IS THE BIGGEST NIGHT OF THEIR LIVES! Well not REALLY! But back in high school it certainly felt like it. Mostly because Hollywood made it such a HUGE deal in the amazing teen movies and television shows of the 80's and 90's. Some of my fave Prom moments are in movies like Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, She's All That, Drive Me Crazy, Whatever It Takes, and Not Another Teen Movie just to name a fab few! Remember that scene in She's All That where everyone at Prom did the dance that Usher taught them? I was in heaven the first time I witnessed it. I always wanted to do that at Prom!

Thankfully the people at Joonbug and Fashion Indie have the same love for all things Prom! They Presented Prom: Class of 2010 on Saturday, May 8, 2010. The event was hosted by Fashion Designer Rebecca Minkoff, Paul Iacono star of MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berger, Jared Eng of JustJared.com, High Society's Devorah Rose, Rescue Me's Callie Thorne, Micah Jesse of MicahJesse.com and Nightlife Trendsetter Sally Shan.

Above: The dance floor was packed all night as Prom goers enjoyed amazing pop hits from the 80's and 90's!

As soon as I walked in I was instantly taken back to my high school prom. I had the exact same feeling of just wanting to get really crunk and dance the night away! There is just something about a good Prom theme in May that gets you going. They even had the prom tables and chairs that totally completed the entire feel of Prom.

Above: My Prom date Nargus shows off the table and chairs situation.

Another amazing thing about the Prom themed event is that there was even a King and Queen of the Prom! (Said with a gasp like in Romy and Michele). I was really happy when I was asked if they could take my picture to be submitted for Prom King. I am not going to lie, I was kinda devastated that I did not take the crown, but the people that won looked totally Promtastic!

Above: The King and Queen of Prom: Class of 2010.

The best part of the night is when I met the true Queen of the Prom, Rebecca Minkoff. She is such a nice person and always puts on great events! Rebecca and I even had a fun Twitter exchange while at the event:

JonValdez: Just met @rebeccaminkoff! She is such a doll! She looked great in her spring/summer 2010!

RebeccaMinkoff: @Jonvaldez Thank you kind sir! U look pretty hot urself!

Above: Rebecca Minkoff looking hot in her Spring/Summer 2010 collection with Jonathan Valdez.

I had an amazing time at the Prom event dancing the night away to amazing pop songs. It was the perfect event to kick off summer, just like back in high school.

I leave you with this epic pic that pretty much sums up the night:

LIVE FROM NEW YORK: A DECADE OF PORTRAITS

Last night a private reception was held at the John Varvatos 315 Bowery boutique to unveil the photography exhibit of Saturday Night Live’s photographer Mary Ellen Matthews. This reception marked the first time in the history of Saturday Night Live that Mary Ellen’s iconic portraits of the show’s hosts and musical guests have been exhibited to the public.

Above: Mary Ellen Matthews' legendary work is displayed at the John Varvatos 315 Bowery Store in New York City.

Originally from New York, Mary Ellen has been photographing the uber famous Saturday Night Live hosts and musical guests for over a decade. Since 2000 she has been responsible for creating the distinctive look of the show’s still images. Mary Ellen’s iconic images have documented well-known personalities in various fields from political figures such as John McCain and Al Gore, to rock legends Mick Jagger and U2, to successful athletes Peyton Manning and LeBron James, to some of pop cultures biggest phenomenons like the Olsen Twins, Britney Spears, Cameron Diaz and more!

Above: Scarlett Johansson as photographed by Mary Ellen Matthews.

The night was a truly special night for me because like so many other comedy lovers, SNL has always had a special place in my heart. I have been captivated by Mary Ellen Matthews' SNL photos the entire decade that she has done them and have always imagined myself in one of them as host of SNL.

I had the chance to meet Mary Ellen and I told her about my dream and that her work was amazing. She then told me that I looked amazing and that she could totally see my being in one of her photos. That meant so much to me! She has shot the biggest of the big. To have a legend tell you that they like your look is beyond epic!

Above: Mary Ellen Matthews and Jonathan Valdez

SNL Cast members Fred Armisen, Jason Sudeikis, Jenny Slate, Kenan Thompson, Kristen Wiig, and Nasim Pedrad, were on hand to support Mary Ellen as she unveiled her illustrious works to the public. I had the chance to meet and tell Kenan Thompson and Jason Sudeikis how much I love their work on the show. They were very grateful and extremly nice.

The best part of the night had to have been when I met one of my favorite new cast members Jenny Slate. She plays the hilarious custom doorbell slash car horn creator Tina-Tina Chaneuse. DING DONG, HEllO, WHAA?!

Above: Jonathan Valdez and Jenny Slate

Jenny was one of the nicest people that I have ever met. She took time out to really speak with me about her work on SNL and how amazing it was to work with Betty White and all of the former SNL ladies. She even did the Tina Tina Chaneuse impression and I literally almost lost it when she said "OH MY GAHHHHHH!" Thank you so much Jenny for being a doll and making my night slash dream come true of meeting Tina Tina!

The John Varvatos store was the perfect place to host this event because it is the space that formerly housed the legendary underground music club CBGB’s. The space and SNL are two huge NYC institutions that have seen the city go through extreme changes. I have to give props to John Varvatos for keeping the feel and vibe of the club alive.

Above: Old posters from CBGB's remain in the John Varvatos store helping those who shop there remember the legendary space.

The New York City exhibit will run from May 10th through August 3rd. Congratulations Mary Ellen on a decade of amazing photos! Maybe one day we will work together!

Kalyn Hemphill Looks Gorgeous In David Meister!

2010 A&E Upfront

I had to take a moment to talk about Kalyn Hemphill's red carpet moment last night at 2010 A&E Upfront at the IAC Building in New York City. Kalyn is an actress and the season one winner of Project Runway's Models of the Runway as well as a friend to OJ&B.

How gorgeous does Kalyn look in this David Meister dress?! The print and color of this dress really pop on the carpet and as my friend Haley said, it is perfect for a tall brunette. Also, LOVING the new hair cut Kalyn!

2010 A&E Upfront

OJ&B LOVES Crumbs Bake Shop!

During the first couple of weeks of my huge move to New York, my friend Emily took me to Crumbs Bake Shop by Bryant Park. She told me that they were the best cupcakes in NYC and that I HAD to have them! I went in and got one of the cupcakes that had a berry filling in it and it was absolute heaven in cupcake form! I had not had the chance to go back to Crumbs but I always remembered that amazing cupcake!

A couple of weeks ago a saw that Crumbs was having a Twitter contest so I entered it. They were going to pick a random follower to win a six pack of their cupcakes and I actually won! I was so excited about winning free cupcakes from the place that I had been thinking about since the first time I had gone.

When my cupcakes were delivered I honestly thought about eating them all by myself, but we all know that the best way to eat cupcakes is by sharing with your friends. I took them to my weekly Glee watch party and everyone there loved them!

Now Crumbs Bake Shop has an entirely new way to share the magic of cupcakes with it's new Colossal Crumb Cupcake. This colossal cupcake is Six and a half inches tall and six inches wide and serves 6-8 people! What a fun way to have your cupcake and eat it with others too!

Recently Melania Trump named Crumbs Bake Shop one of her top 5 favorite things in New York City in AM New York. It is so nice to know that Melania and I love the same things. Mel, let me know when you want to have a cupcake together and I will be there!

P.S. I had a blast doing my cupcake photoshoot!
