'Kinis and surfers and stares! OH MY! I recently read an article in the NY TIMES about how Abercrombie and Fitch owned clothing store, Hollister, opened up a new location in NYC. So apparently when you walk into this store you are greeted by some of what you see in the picture. Not only that, but they also scattered these dude bros and dudettes throughout the store to be flirty with you. OH YOU KNOW I HAD TO PUT MY TWO CENTS IN! LOL.

Listen, don't teens have enough problems with body images these days without going shopping and having to deal with half naked models acting like they give a crap that you need a different size? Let's say that one day I was back in high school and I was tying to search for clothes. If I turned around and had some model in a swim suit ask me if I needed help, I would kindly hand them a smedium vintage slim fit distressed T and say, "No thanks, put this on and go eat a ham and cheese sandwich with extra mayo cause you look hungry, now get out my face! KAY?" "P.S. Your cheeks are hanging out!" I am not trying to sound bitter but really?

I want to create a store where paparazzi are standing outside. Then when you enter they start taking your picture as you walk down the cleaned every 30 mins red carpet. OOO! And instead of mirrors, you get to see what you look like in a picture that says "hottest dressed celeb" at the top. I think my store wins!! Let me know if you agree or disagree! -JV

  1. Your store definitely wins!! On the plus side I was watching/reading an article that was saying that teen clothing stores are all doing well right right EXCEPT for Abercrombie!! A financial analyst was saying the whole "sex sells" thing they have going on is getting WAY old and that their clothes are the same crap as 10 years ago and even tho they are doing bad they are totally unwilling to change their schtick.....good news for us!
